Le père Jacques Mourad est un prêtre syriaque catholique, de Syrie, qui est membre de la communauté monastique nouvelle de Mar Moussa. Cette communauté monastique est très engagée dans le dialogue islamo-chrétien. Il a été otage du groupe « Etat Islamique » du 21 mai au 10 octobre 2015, et a pu s’échapper miraculeusement. Il porte un message de paix et d’amour.
